Born in Dallas, Texas and based in Des Moines, Iowa, David Wayne Redfearn has been writing original songs since he was eighteen. Today he plays as a solo acoustic act — just him and his guitar — built around a groove-oriented blend of blues, funk, folk, rock, and reggae.
His sets aren't standard cover-band fare. They're his own songs alongside uncommon deep cuts you won't hear from the bar band down the street — the kind of show that makes a room lean in and a dance floor fill up.
